- The Language Resource Centre (LRC) is on the 4th floor of the Meng Wah Complex and is open from 9am to 8pm, Mondays to Fridays.
- Visiting intern: from March 10-17 CAES is hosting an intern from Australia, and he will be doing some sessions in the LRC Activities Room:
- Conversation Corner, 10/3 from 10-12, so drop in for a chat;
- Discussion groups, 12/3 from 11-12 and 12-1pm;
- IELTS writing workshops, 15/3 from 4-5pm and 17/3 from 4-5 and 5-6pm.
- New resources: Cambridge IELTS 7 is now available. Lots of TV series will be available soon: Ugly Betty, the OC, Gray's Anatomy, the L Word, Prison Break, House and Heroes.
- Consultants are available in the LRC daily throughout the semester to help you improve your English language skills. Book an appointment online now.
- Discussion groups meet every day except Thursdays. Monday, Wednesday and Friday are student choice discussions, and fine art is discussed on Tuesdays 4-5pm. Please check the discussion topic each week and book your place online here.
- Social English workshops are held on Thursdays and Fridays. Learn idiomatic, conversational English from TV shows. Book your place online here.
- Pronunciation workshops are held on Wednesdays 3-4pm. Book your place online here.
