The Conversation Exchange
The Conversation Exchange is a way for you to contact other HKU students in order to practice speaking or studying English together. All you need to do is register and then search for a partner whose language interests match with yours. You and your partner are completely free to arrange where, how, and how long you meet, and what you do when you meet. If you both want to practice the same language then decide whether you just want to chat or whether you want to study more seriously. If you and your partner speak different languages and want to exchange them, then speak the one language for half the time, and the other for half the time, so that you are learning from one another. If you need more advice, or have difficulty in registering, then book an appointment at the Consultation Desk in the LRC.
